When Carl Wilson died of cancer in 1998, his sons Jonah and Justyn became heirs to their father’s estate. That meant joining with surviving Beach Boys founders Mike Love , Brian Wilson , and Al Jardine to vote on key business decisions, from archival releases to commercials. NEW YORK (AP) — “Hamilton” creator Lin-Manuel Miranda joined New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio on Monday at the grand opening of a Times Square COVID-19 vaccination site intended to jump-start the city’s entertainment industry. “We want to gather again, and we want to tell stories in the dark,” said Miranda, the author and star of the hit musical about Alexander Hamilton. “We cannot do that if we don’t feel safe and if you don’t feel safe. So the first step in that process is getting our vaccination shots, and the next steps will follow.” Watch below: Broadway theaters have been shuttered since the coronavirus pandemic struck in March of last year. George Clooney , Noah Wyle , Julianna Margulies and Anthony Edwards will reunite with other cast members of NBC’s classic hospital drama ER for a special Earth Day episode of Stars in the House , the YouTube series benefitting The Actors Fund . The ER reunion episode is set for Thursday, April 22 at 8pm ET. The episode, another in the series’ popular TV cast reunions, also will benefit Waterkeeper Alliance, the global clean water nonprofit. The idea for the joint benefit came from actress Gloria Reuben, who portrayed ER ‘s physician assistant Jeanie Boulet and now serves as the President of Waterkeeper Alliance.
