TikTok user @hatoes shared a video showing the clever way she likes to hide her Oreos in a secret drawer from everybody else in her house. At first glance it looks like your ordinary plug socket, but if you tried to use it to plug something in, you'd soon work out it was actually a fake. Instead, it holds a secret lock to a hidden drawer that can only be opened with a key, with the woman, known as Hattie, demonstrating online. Amazon has unveiled plans to tap a ground-mounted solar system in Singapore that is expected to generate 80,000 megawatt hours of energy a year. To be deployed by local solar energy vendor Sunseap Group, the 62-megawatt (MW) solar network will be used to power Amazon's operations, including data centres and fulfilment facilities. The installation would sit on a temporary vacant land spanning 40 acres and was part of a contract awarded to Sunseap by local industrial estate provider, JTC . Slated for completion next year, the site would be the largest aggregated mobile solar system to be rolled out in the city-state, said Sunseap in a statement Monday. It added that the ground-mounted solar system, unlike typical fixed installations, were designed to be "modular and flexible" so they could be moved and redeployed when the land was reclaimed for other uses. The 1,500-megawatt Ca Mau Power Plant 3 is set to begin operation in 2026 when it will produce nine billion kilowatt-hours of electricity a year and employs 2,000 locals. PV Power will require 26 hectares in Khanh An Commune to begin construction in 2022. This is PV Power’s third gas-fired power plant in the province. Ca Mau chairman Le Quan supports the project and has tasked departments with assisting the company in completing administrative procedures. Several other LNG power plants have received approval or are having feasibility studies done amid growing power demand in Vietnam.
