Rapid Recap: USC gets punked by Arizona

Andy Enfield was already mad. He was yelling at referees and showing a lot of emotion with his players. But soon USC's head coach was seething after he watched yet another 50-50 rebound that could have been snatched by a Trojan end up in the hands of an Arizona forward. He turned toward the USC bench and demonstratively screamed a taboo four-letter word. "SOFT!" Enfield's one-word shriek summed up the first half as the Trojans basically got punked. They got beat at their own game Saturday afternoon in an 81-72 loss at home in the Galen Center. Arizona beat up USC down low with big men Jordan Brown and Azuolas Tubelis . Both finished with double-doubles. The Wildcats were tougher and more physical. They seemed to come away with every contested rebound, every board that was tipped around, every loose ball. "In spots, certain possessions, certain segments, I think we weren't as tough as we could have been, especially to start the game," senior guard Tahj Eaddy … [Read more...] about Rapid Recap: USC gets punked by Arizona
