India, China will find mutually acceptable peaceful ways to resolve tension: Russia on LAC standoff

New Delhi: Russian Foreign Ministry on Friday (March 5) issued a statement on the current situation at the India-China border, which witnessed violent clashes between the troops of the two Asian nations at the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in the eastern part of Ladakh. On the India-China border situation, Russian spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said, "We continue to monitor the situation at the China-India border. We welcome the agreements reached by the foreign ministers of China and India during the phone conversation on February 25, 2021." "We respect the parties’ resolve to settle the situation without foreign interference and within the existing framework of the multi-level mechanisms of bilateral dialogue," her statement said. OCI cardholders need special nod for ‘Tabligh’, other activities in India

All Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) cardholders are required to take a special permission from the central government if they want to be involved in any missionary, 'Tabligh' or journalistic activities in the country. An official from the Union home ministry said these rules were part of the 'brochure' published by it in 2019 and were recently consolidated and notified. India’s athletics coach found dead in hostel room

The dead body of the 72-year-old Snesarev, who returned to India after a gap of two years to be at the helm till the end of September, has been sent to a government hospital for post mortem. "When the door was broken, he was found lying on his bed. The Sports Authority of India doctor at the NIS declared him dead and the ED (team) of the SAI has referred the body to the government hospital for post mortem." "We don't know the cause of death.
