National Offer Day lans on April 16 this year. That means hundreds of thousands of families across England are anxiously waiting to hear whether their child has been offered their first choice of primary school. Official data shows that 90.2% of pupils last year were offered their first choice of primary school, which was down slightly from 90.6% in 2019. Hopefully the majority of families will this year find out that their children have been accepted by their Primary school of choice. Leaders of several area labour unions didn’t mince words at a news conference today in response to recent events involving the Laurentian University insolvency and CCAA process. The Ukrainian navy has threatened to shoot at Russian FSB security service patrol ships in a worrying flashpoint amid fears a war could be sparked between the nations. In the latest of several spats, five Federal Security Service vessels carried out “provocative manoeuvres” in the Azov Sea around three Gyurza-M-class artillery boats of Ukraine’s navy. “In response to the threats from the Russian vessels, our sailors had to warn of a readiness to use weapons,” said Andrii Klymenko, editor of Black Sea News. After the Kyiv sailors issued the threat to shoot, they were allowed to proceed, he said. There are fears Russia is seeking to provoke a response from Ukraine which may act as a catalyst to a wider conflict and even full scale war. Disney has delayed Marvel 's Black Widow release yet again, this time until July 9 -- but Black Widow will also be available to stream that same day on Disney Plus for $30 through the service's Premier Access model, on top of what you pay for a regular Disney Plus subscription, the company said Tuesday. Also Tuesday, Disney said: Its next Pixar film, Luca , will become a Disney Plus original film available to stream at no extra cost June 18, essentially skipping theaters. Cruella , its live-action reboot of 101 Dalmatians, would also be available as a Premier Access release on Disney Plus the same day as theaters on May 28.
